What do a stack of wooden fish, a shabby-chic penguin and a twisted wire tree have in common? They’re all things I got for my birthday, the first two courtesy of my parents and the last from Steve. Before you start questioning their tastes, I picked out all of these items myself… so question my taste, I guess. In my old age (I am 25 now, after all) I have started to appreciate more whimsy in my life. It’s important to include a certain amount of silliness in your day when you’re a paper-pusher.
