This little moose is something I’ve had for a long time. I don’t remember where it came from, but every time I see it, it makes me smile.
It makes me think about all the stuff we crowd our lives with. When I was in high school, I coated my walls in newspaper clipping and posters. My shelves were full of trinkets of all sorts. Now my attic is full of stuff. All sorts of stuff.
Clutter is a negative term. It implies lack of control and a feeling of being overwhelmed by belongings. But I like my clutter. I like organized clutter… you know, having a path to walk in and knowing where everything is. But things like this little moose make me smile. I don’t think it would be accurate to say it makes me fulfilled, but it does make me feel, if only momentarily, happy.
