One Month

The boys turned one month old today.

Hastily taken cell phone picture of me attempting to satisfy their desire to both be held at the same time while Steve does chores around the house (Jack in one arm, Henry on lap):

Steve and I go back to work (each part-time) tomorrow, which will leave each of us doing sole parent duty for roughly four hours at a time each day. Taking care of two infants at once is challenging, and I frequently feel guilty when I have to put one down to attend to the other. But we adore them both and look forward to the day when perhaps they will play with each other instead of requiring Mom or Dad for all of their entertainment.
