Steve insisted that I leave the house yesterday to see the flowers growing in the fields around the UC Santa Cruz campus. The poppies are in season, and I admit it's quite striking (probably better in person than in my pictures, but that's the way it goes).
On a less hazy day, you can see the ocean just beyond those evergreens.

I'm sure they are prettier in person, but they still make for nice pictures! Looks like a good thing to do! Wish Philip had more time to do that kind of thing; busy season is coming to a close! :-D
The pictures are beautiful, but are they the end to your blogging? It has been over a month lady...not acceptable. Hope Steve had a good birthday. Love to see something new from you.
