A Boy and His Plants

One of the dangers of me working the (relatively) long hours of tax season is that Steve has more unattended shopping time. When I arrived home from work he turned to say hello and then added, “I may have bought some more plants.”

I don’t care much for gardening, but when Steve’s out back working, I feel guilty and like I need to help (which is how I ended up planting the narcissus and cleaning out planter beds as mentioned in my previous post).

He’s also talking about planting some vegetables in our side yard. Oh well. I suppose there are much worse hobbies.

I like how he says "I may have bought." Does that mean he also may have stolen them instead?
