I’ve Been Replaced

We have been so good about not spending money in the quest to pay down student loans that Steve’s computer has become very out-of-date. He can’t play the newest computer games and the computer occasionally does… odd things. In short, it was getting old.

Thanks in part to some birthday money, we decided we could afford to upgrade the old machine, and I fear I may have been replaced.

I came home from class this evening to find this scene on our bed:



(yes, on the bed, we have no other place to spread things out)

Eventually the pieces became this maze of wires:

And, once closed up, it became Steve’s new best friend.
