The Next Step

Steve and I signed a bunch of disclosure forms today and are now officially in contract on the little Victorian cottage we've been eying in downtown Santa Cruz. I am alternating between elation and anxiety with disorienting frequency. As I explained to our realtor, having a house of our own is something Steve and I have wanted for a very long time. The fact that this dream is actually being fulfilled has me somewhat in shock.

I will put up pictures and more information about the house after Steve and I do our next walkthrough (we've been through twice before). Next up: inspections.
