Caught finishing off the salsa.
Our tomato plants have been going crazy and we got some peppers in our veggie box last week so, as he often does, Steve made salsa. He claims to have used "the usual" recipe, but this last batch is truly the best salsa I have ever had. Anywhere. At any time. Steve is crediting the extremely sweet tomatoes that one of our plants has been producing. It is truly epic stuff.

Need... Recipe... Love... Salsa!!!
Steve doesn't actually measure things when he throws them together. He dices everything by hand instead of using a blender. He says he thinks he used approximately two chopped medium peppers (we don't know exactly what kind we were given in the veggie box), 3/4 to 1 cup chopped sweet onion, 1 tsp seasoned salt, 1 tsp black pepper, a little less than 1 tsp cumin, 2 tbsp vinegar and lemon juice to taste. He isn't sure how many tomatoes he put in... he's guessing probably two cups worth or so. If it doesn't turn out to be the best thing you ever tasted, maybe it really is just our tomatoes. ;-)
