Dishwasher!

Three months after initially ordering it, we finally got our portable dishwasher. Delivery was delayed four separate times and when it finally arrived, it took the warehouse staff a day to find it. But at least it’s here.

I felt that Steve and I (mainly Steve, let’s be honest) had better things to do with our time than wash dishes. I mean, video games don’t play themselves and bunnies don’t clean their own cages.

Anyway, we used it for the first time last night, and it’s marvelous. It’s tiny at only 18” wide, but that’s all that would fit in our limited space. We roll it over to the sink and hook up the hose to the facet and… presto! Clean dishes!

I know it’s not the most thrilling thing ever to be blogged about (although, it’s probably not the most boring either) but we are so excited. Civilization has come to Santa Cruz.

It is exciting news when something makes life easier. I'm sure you will love having a dishwasher and it helps sanitize dishes so you don't spread germs.
Congratulations.
