5 Years, 11 Months

Ain't nobody here but us chickens...
Chicken Henry is one of my favorite versions of Henry.

July 29, 2022 was the boys' final day at their combination daycare/preschool, Neighborhood Childcare Center. They had attended for four years, starting part-time when they were only two years old. Their final day was deemed a pajama day by popular demand from the students, and the boys were delighted to participate.
Steve made mango-strawberry popsicles for all the kids, and the boys had a really good last day. Though leaving was definitely bittersweet, the boys are definitely ready to move on to a more challenging environment.
The boys continue to enjoy their boardwalk season passes.
Steve took a whirl with the boys on the teacups to show them how fast they can actually spin.
The boys were delighted, until Henry started to feel a little ill. Fortunately Steve successfully slowed things down before anything messy happened.
We attended Day at Laurel Park, a city park only a block from our house. The boys valiantly attempted to battle in the bubbles, even though said bubbles were quite heavy and unwieldy.
Bounce house!
The boys are continuing their swim lessons and making good progress.

Our biggest excitement recently was our trip to Southern California over the boys' summer break. More on that to come.
