Halloween 2017

Our little DinoHenry and Jack o' Lantern:
I was pleasantly surprised; the boys really seemed to enjoy wearing and running around in their costumes. We'll have to put together a dress-up box for the little dudes.

Quest for the purloined pumpkin hat:
Jack
Jack is becoming quite aware of when he's being photographed.

Suave crouch:
Stand up straight and show off the costume:
Smile!
Studying a little stuffed pumpkin man from his Grandparents Pool:
Why is this bucket utterly devoid of candy!? I demand answers!
Henry
Henry has been giving me the stink-eye a lot lately when I take pictures of him. You'll just have to trust me that he really was having fun and enjoyed his dino costume (minus hood).

Hoarding Halloween stuffed toys and guarding the treat bucket:
Another picture... really, Mom!?
Competing emotions... smug to have taken possession of brother's hat, displeased at having his picture taken:
Not the best picture, but one of very few in which Henry permits his adorable hood to remain on his head:
Henry enjoys brother's pumpkin hat:
The boys rolled along downtown Santa Cruz in their strollers, taking in the costumed characters and watching the bigger kids collect candy from local merchants. Should be a fun tradition for us as the boys get older.
