For the first of last weekend's adventures, Steve and I visited my brother and Brooke at their house Friday night. They cooked us a tasty taco dinner, but the main attraction was...
... new puppy!
Steve gets kisses from our new dog-niece Suki, a thoroughly charming husky puppy.
The cat is unimpressed (and rug-like):
There were other exciting activities, such as our new favorite game, how many adults does it take to work a sewing machine (to patch Steve's pants)?
Saturday morning, Steve installed a new temperature-controlled gable attic fan at our house because, well, sleeping in is for wimps (like me).
Saturday night, we went up to the Mountain Winery in Saratoga for dinner and a show. Dinner was, well, not quite worth the price, but now we know. The show, however, was fabulous. Comedian Eddie Izzard was a joy to watch, as always.
View of the winery and stage from the nosebleed section (which was quite lovely, actually):
View of the valley from behind our seats:
Though I look slightly uncertain, I am very happy with my seating companions, Steve on one side, this lovely redwood on the other:
We spent Sunday working on the epic three-story rabbit condo, pictures to come soon...

Looks like you had a great time! It seems Philip and I have similar sleep situation. I'm the one always sleeping and he stays up to all hours...I am awake at this hour because I am traveling and sleeping elsewhere sucks and I don't do it well...
