Windows, Part Deux

Today our wonderful installers returned and finished the window saga begun last year. We now have properly sealed, working windows with screens throughout the house. A very exciting milestone (if you're the sort to get excited about these things, as we are).

The new windows are double paned, and each pane of glass has a different thickness (which increases the sound-dampening capability). I've already noticed a significant reduction in the outside noise invading those rooms; the quiet is absolutely lovely. I'm a happy camper.
