Well, as much as I tried to put it off, it’s finally happened. I ran out of excuses and the California Board of Accountancy ran out of ways to delay me, so I’m finally scheduled to take the CPA exam. I managed to keep it at bay for four years after graduation with my accounting degree and ignore my boss asking about it for three years. But, sadly, all good things must come to an end.
I will be taking “Business Environment and Concepts” on April 18th, “Financial Accounting and Reporting” in May, “Auditing and Attestation” in July, and “Regulation” in August. I decided to split up the exam parts this way so I only have to study for one at a time. So, starting today, if you’re wondering what I’m up to, I’ll be studying.
I was really hoping that the studying would end when I graduated from college.
But, I have high hopes for my future CPA license: to never ever have to use it.

I promise not to offer any advice unless requested for fear advice is already plentiful and mostly useless (as I have found it is only really helpful if it comes from the people that study/learn the same way).
Good Luck :)
Good luck!!! I am going to be studying this summer, hopefully. I'll be taking a class so that I can get my clear teaching credential! It's going to be weird studying again, I'm sure the same is true for you!
